1. Drive in — Drive to our Stockport scrap yard — 8 miles via A56, about 15 minutes.

2. Weigh in — Calibrated digital scales. You can see the reading yourself.

3. Get paid — Same day BACS bank transfer. Done.

Coming from Sale?

From Sale, the A56 run is normally 15 minutes. Sale regulars know the score: drive in, weigh, paid same day. Bring photo ID first time and you're on the system. Most Sale drops we see are smaller trade jobs — pipework, cables, electric motors, the occasional cast piece.

Where is the nearest scrap yard to Sale?
Head to our Stockport depot at Omega Works, Oldmoor Road, Stockport, SK6 2QE. From Sale that's 8 miles via the A56, normally a 15-minute run.
What scrap metal do you buy from Sale?
Copper, brass, aluminium, lead, stainless and cables on the non-ferrous side. Brake discs and Mixed Tool Steel on the ferrous side. We also take gold, silver, car batteries, electric motors and catalytic converters from Sale customers.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointments at any of our yards. Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm, Sat 8am-12pm, drive straight in. First time, bring photo ID and proof of address. After that you're on the system and it's quicker.
How quickly do I get paid?
Same day, by BACS bank transfer. Money's usually in your account within a couple of hours of you leaving the yard. We don't pay cash.
