Lancashire's scrap yard

Serving Preston and Across Lancashire

362 Blackpool Road, Fulwood. Easy from the M6 and M55.

The yard is at 362 Blackpool Road in Fulwood, on the main A583 arterial route out towards the Fylde Coast. From the M6 it's about 8 minutes via Junction 31A and the A59. From the M55 it's around 10 minutes from Junction 1. If you're coming in from Blackpool, Kirkham or Lytham, you pass us on the way into Preston regardless. Access is good for long-wheelbase vans, trailers and heavier vehicles.

Fulwood is one of Preston's busier areas for building and refurbishment work. We get a steady flow of plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters and building contractors from Fulwood, Longridge, Garstang and Ribble Valley dropping off copper, aluminium and mixed loads on their way through. If you're working in the PR2 postcode area, the yard is a convenient stop.

We draw trade from right across Lancashire: Blackburn, Burnley, Chorley, Leyland, Southport, Lancaster, Lytham St Annes and Skelmersdale. Preston has a solid base of construction, engineering, property development and fit-out work. Demolition contractors, heating engineers, roofing companies and electrical contractors all generate regular scrap and we deal with most of them. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the wider healthcare sector around Preston also produce non-ferrous material through maintenance and refurbishment programmes.
